Epic Furnaces was upgraded. There shouldn’t be any noticeable changes apart from some performance benefits.
However, after analyzing upgrade usage of a few players, I’ve made a few changes to the levels.
- Increased max level from 6 to 10
- Adjusted level costs
- Adjusted level benefits (speed, efficiency, rewards)
A max level (10) furnace would look like this:
- Speed: 150%
- Reward: 70% chance to receive 5 to 8 items
- Efficiency: 100%
- Total cost to reach: $275,000
To put this in perspective, the previous max level (6) looked like this:
- Speed: 75%
- Reward: 70% chance to receive 3 to 4 items
- Efficiency: 45%
- Total cost to reach: 64,500
Those who have furnaces up to level 6 by now will keep their current level at the new stats. This may mean a slight decrease in stats but for the most part will be very similar, and despite the increase in cost (new cost to reach Level 6 for example would be $105,000).
This will add to the “money sink” use of the furnaces while massively increasing overall benefit, particularly at the highest levels.
Known issues: a currently placed furnace that gets upgraded may not get their name in the main furnace menu updated to reflect their actual level. You can check the current level by left-clicking to access the Epic Furnaces upgrade GUI. Simply breaking and placing the furnace back down seems to correct this. I’m not 100% certain if this issue even exists though.
If you experience any issues, comment below. Please include coordinates (all three) of the furnace that has the issue and any screenshots.
